Your guide will teach you all you need to know to have a fun controlled trip down this class II and III whitewater river. Each trip maintains a guide to client ratio of no greater than 1:5. Your guide is always close at hand to help you polish your paddling skills. Customers rave about how quickly they mastered control of their Ducky and started heading for the BIG waves.

This 4 hour trip takes place in the spectacular Matanuska River Valley, 70 miles north of Anchorage on the Matanuska River, from Chickaloon to Kings River.  It is suitable for beginners and advanced beginners ages 10 and older. You should participate in regular physical exercise (you don’t need to be a weight lifter, but should not describe exercise as picking up the remote). You paddle your own IK for about 3 hours on the river.

We supply: drysuit, wetsuit booties, life jacket, helmet, IK, paddle, wetsuit gloves.

You need to bring: Sweatshirt and sweatpants, socks, or long underwear tops and bottoms, (forgot your sweats? we can help you) sun screen, change of clothes.
