Our SUP’s are fresh off the barge and ready for a full season of fun and exploration! Just in time for warm sunny weather and your burst of spring energy. Stand Up Paddleboards at Kayak Center Alaska are a huge hit now because they open up a whole new way to explore the waterways of Anchorage, Wasilla, Mat-Su, Kenai, Seward, and Whittier in Prince William Sound.
Those SUP’s look easy, but they can be a little tricky to handle when you first get on them. That’s why our customers asked us to help them with rentals, classes and trips. And you know us… we’ll do anything to get you out enjoying Alaska with a paddle in your hands.
This season we are doing custom SUP trips, from 2 hours to full-day SUP trips. Explore a calm rocky lakeshore for an afternoon, or go for a full day hopping from lake to lake with short portages. That’s what these SUP’s are best at. So pick an afternoon and let’s go.

Call to schedule an individual training session at a time that works for you. You’ll learn gear basics, how to mount the SUP, how to kneel, how to stand, and basic strokes and paddling stance. Just an hour or two with an instructor the first time you try an SUP will accelerate your ability to have fun. You will set a good foundation and learn the proper techniques for a season of exploration.

Rent before you buy! It’s always a good idea to try out a new piece of equipment to see if this SUP sport is right for you. We rent SUP boards with paddles and PFD’s. We also have drysuits and booties to keep you toasty while splashing around in the Last Frontier.
