The Basics: The Regal has one single-minded goal: fun! The core design of this boat is based off our best selling sit-on-top, the Riviera, but with a closed deck and cockpit aimed at keeping paddlers drier even when the wind comes up and a sudden change of weather blows in. Hop in the Regal for sunning, jaunts across the lake, down a river, surfing on the ocean, kayak fishing at your local spot and any other casual water activity. The roomy back deck allows you to tie on your fishing gear, a snack, a cooler of drinks or provide a nice place for your child or dog to chill out and enjoy the ride.

Recreation at its finest: The highlights of the Jackson Regal:

  • Lake dwellers will find the Regal ready for all kinds of water frolic. From solo paddles around the dock to long expeditions the Regal tracks very well and gets you from point A to Point B with speed and comfort. An ergonomically designed built-in seat and adjustable foot holds make this the ideal choice of craft to simply kick back in around the lake.

With the back deck perfect for stashing kayak or fishing gear, the Regal is a great choice for fishing or day treks. For those skilled in moving water, the Regal has even been known to blast down whitewater.
  • Liveries and Outfitters and Boat Rental Companies are often frustrated by boats with too many moving parts, too heavy, difficult to maintain and impossible to store. The Regal was built to make life easy for professional liveries, outfitters and beach and park concessionaires. Ibis Jackson Kayak

Like the wonderful wading waterbird for which it’s named, whether you’re exploring coastal lagoons, mangrove swamps, salt marshes or inland freshwater lakes and rivers, Jackson Kayak’s Ibis is right at home. The bird is gregarious with a tendency to wander and we think you will be too once you see how stable and easy the Ibis is to paddle.

The Basics: Embedded in the DNA of Jackson Kayak is a commitment to championship excellence so for the Ibis, we called on the industry-recognized champion of rec boat design and asked him to put all his best thoughts into one super sweet boat. It doesn’t get any better than this. Destined to be a classic in Jackson Kayak’s rec/touring line, the Ibis is the most versatile kayak in its class, attracting paddlers who put a premium on comfort, performance, storage capacity and value. For comfort, a padded knee area combines with our super-comfy, removable Elite seat that’s a dream on and off the water.

The Ibis delivers on performance and aesthetics thanks to its highly efficient and straight-tracking hard-chined hull and a look inspired by traditional kayaks. Our unique approach to gear storage means the Ibis is a delight on day trips and a real workhorse for overnighters. Stuff your daily needs in the on-deck storage bag for easy and quick access to gear and goodies without having to open a hatch. At camp at night, park the Elite seat next to the campfire and gain hatchless access to overnight gear stored in a dry bag behind the seat.

Best of all, at least in these economic times, the Ibis is long on features and benefits and low on price. $799.

A boat to call home on the water. Highlights of the Ibis:

Rogue Jackson Kayak

One boat with two distinctly different personalities. Designed to be the quiver of one for the paddler whose appetite for river adventure is a bit more sampler platter than main course. Versatility is the calling card of the Rogue thanks to a hull shape designed to expertly bridge the opposing performance characteristics of being fast on flatwater while nimble in whitewater. Transitioning from light touring down meandering rivers to Class II-III whitewater is this Rogue’s calling card.

The Rogue’s reason for being is to give paddlers a drier, more stable, stronger and supremely comfortable ride for longer treks and overnighters in a diversity of paddling conditions. Attention to detail means the Rogue’s roomy rear hatch will store more than enough gear for multi day excursions. . Jackson Kayak sets the bar very high with the Rogues focus on comfort. The Rogue sports Jackson Kayak’s infinitely adjustable “Sure Lock” back band system, hip pads, thigh pads and ultra comfy SL seating, bringing extended comfort and enjoyment on all your excursions.

What you can expect from the Rogue:

  • Beginners – A boat that will grow with your skills. Stable, fun and easy to paddle. This kindly Rogue is your best friend when you suddenly find yourself in river conditions a little bumpier than expected and need a boat that will turn on the auto-pilot to keep you upright and smiling. The durability of our plastic will also forgive the new boater for their treatment as they are dragged over rock and sand, and tossed up onto cars.
  • Intermediates – Confidence-inspiring is one of the chief goals of all Jackson Kayak designs and the Rogue does not disappoint. When you’re ready to test your mettle in tougher whitewater, the Rogue will right there at your side – well actually, under your bottom – to quell any hesitation and let you charge like champion.
  • Experts – You’re a veteran and with experience comes discriminating taste. You have exacting performance expectations. We do too. We infuse that same championship mentality that makes us world champions in whitewater into the design of every design we make. From best-in-class materials, to ergonomic outfitting, adjustability, aesthetics and speed the Rogue delivers more for the money.
